A key aspect of this role is understanding Insurance Regulatory Reporting requirements. This position is part of the Regulatory Operations and Downstream Reporting department within Finance Systems. The role involves analyzing requirements, evaluating solutions and technology initiatives, and supporting the identification, evaluation, and management of technology partnerships and collaborations.

You will be responsible for building relationships with technology partners and business stakeholders, gathering technology requirements from business units, and contributing to the development of technology recommendations, solutions, and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of technical connections and regulatory data submissions, avoiding customer impact or non-compliance issues.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as analyzing requirements, evaluating technology solutions, and supporting the management of technology partnerships in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Gather technology requirements from business units and stakeholders, contributing to the development of recommendations, solutions, and proposals.
  • Conduct analysis of technology needs to identify areas for improvement, evaluating solutions and vendors to address business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, addressing any technology-related issues.
  • Identify and update processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and support automation where applicable.
  • Assist in creating and implementing test plans mapped to documented business requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology, supporting the monitoring of technology partnership practices.
  • Support projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring good customer outcomes by acting in good faith, avoiding foreseeable harm, and enabling customers to pursue their financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related industry experience.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in regulatory reporting, business analysis, or a related field within the insurance industry.
  3. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and standards, particularly in relation to GISA, Facility Association, and GAA.
