Bilingual Salesforce Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced bilingual Salesforce Developer to design, build, integrate, test, and support scalable Salesforce solutions. This hybrid role is based in Montréal and requires professional fluency in both French and English to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users.

The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on Salesforce development skills with sound engineering judgment, clear communication, and an understanding of secure enterprise application delivery.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Hybrid role based in Montréal, Quebec.
• The successful candidate must be able to attend the Montréal worksite as required.
• The specific onsite schedule will be confirmed during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce applications and platform enhancements.
• Build maintainable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Triggers, validation rules, and platform configuration.
• Translate business and functional requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Develop integrations between Salesforce and internal or external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, and approved integration patterns.
• Configure and extend Salesforce objects, data models, automation, user interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
• Apply Salesforce security best practices, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, field-level security, and access controls.
• Participate in solution-design discussions, estimation, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, release preparation, and production support.
• Write unit tests and maintain appropriate code coverage, quality, performance, and documentation standards.
• Support data migration, data-quality validation, deployment, troubleshooting, and production stabilization.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce DX, sandbox environments, and release-management processes.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly in French and English to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of Salesforce engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

• Professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and supporting Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Triggers, and declarative configuration.
• Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with external applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security, sharing, permissions, governor limits, and platform best practices.
• Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, deployments, sandbox strategy, and release processes.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, performance troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, estimate work, and communicate solution trade-offs.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Montréal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator, App Builder, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant architect credentials.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Experience with MuleSoft or another enterprise integration platform.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Canadian privacy, security, accessibility, and data-governance expectations.
• Experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical standards and code-quality practices.
