Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions, with a strong focus on Commercial Lines Insurance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire architecture, Guidewire Cloud, and enterprise insurance solutions, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions for Commercial Lines.
  • Define scalable, secure, and cloud-ready solution architectures aligned with Guidewire best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver end-to-end Guidewire solutions.
  • Drive technical design, integration strategy, architecture governance, and solution reviews.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and project delivery timelines.
  • Design and oversee Guidewire integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
  • Support solution planning, estimation, risk assessment, and technical decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Guidewire Architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience implementing Commercial Lines Insurance solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud, Guidewire integrations, and architecture best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire configuration and integration technologies, including REST and SOAP web services.
  • Solid knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and guide cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire Cloud Certification.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and cloud-native architectures.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise Guidewire implementations.
