Salesforce FSC Developer

Position Overview

VStream Labs Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Developer to support a major banking client. The successful candidate will develop, customize, integrate and maintain Salesforce solutions, with strong hands-on Salesforce engineering experience and a solid understanding of Financial Services Cloud.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid – Toronto, Ontario: Two days per week onsite in Toronto, with the remaining days remote.

Client: Major banking client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize and maintain solutions on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
• Develop using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers and Salesforce Flows.
• Configure and customize FSC capabilities to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Perform unit testing, debugging and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, Technical Leads and business stakeholders.
• Support data migration and Salesforce deployment activities.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows Salesforce best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers and Flows.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Good understanding of the Salesforce data model and security framework.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Salesforce deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to attend the Toronto client site two days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Experience in banking, financial services, wealth management, insurance or capital markets.
• Experience with MuleSoft or another integration platform.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
