Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer

We are seeking a senior Guidewire integration developer for a contract engagement in Markham, Ontario. The role requires onsite attendance three days per week and hands-on delivery across Guidewire ClaimCenter, ContactManager, Guidewire Cloud, Gosu, messaging, APIs, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Create technical diagrams, solution designs, and implementation documentation.
  • Design, build, configure, package, test, and deploy Guidewire integrations and supporting software.
  • Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions and external-system integrations.
  • Perform peer code reviews and follow established coding, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Support Guidewire upgrades and patches, resolve complex technical issues, and improve application performance.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of Guidewire development experience, including ClaimCenter integration development.
  • Five or more years of hands-on Gosu coding experience.
  • Guidewire Associate Certification.
  • Hands-on experience with ClaimCenter, ContactManager, and Guidewire Cloud.
  • Experience with Guidewire tools and accelerators, Batch, predefined plugins, and code reverse engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of the Guidewire Messaging Engine, including queues, transports, and plugins.
  • Experience designing and developing REST/JSON APIs, Cloud APIs, and web services.
  • Five or more years of relational database experience and end-to-end business application design and development.
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity, DataDog, and Guidewire Home.
  • Property and casualty insurance domain experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Markham, Ontario three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire ACE Certification.
  • Integration experience spanning ClaimCenter, ContactManager, and PolicyCenter.
  • Experience with GUnit automated integration tests and data builders.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades and Cloud Assurance Reports.
  • Experience with App Events, event-driven architecture, and publish/subscribe patterns.
