- Implement logging, tracing and monitoring using tools such as Hawtio, Prometheus, Grafana and distributed tracing.
- Implement error handling, retries, timeouts, circuit breakers and compensation logic within Camel routes.
- Support contract testing, route-level unit testing and integration testing of exposed APIs.
- Collaborate with Kafka and Azure engineers on message contracts at the integration-platform boundary.

- Strong Java development skills with JUnit, Camel Test Kit or comparable unit and integration testing frameworks.
- Hands-on Red Hat 3scale API Management experience covering API definition, policies, security and developer-portal fundamentals.
- Experience deploying and operating services on Red Hat OpenShift or a comparable Kubernetes platform.
- Practical understanding of resilience patterns, including circuit breakers, retries and timeouts using Resilience4j or Camel error handlers.
