Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to support a critical transformation initiative involving the migration of Commercial and Personal Lines policies from two legacy systems into Guidewire ClaimCenter. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise across all lines of business and hands-on experience with both ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter. This role is instrumental in ensuring a smooth and accurate migration, effective system integrations, and optimal business outcomes.

Location: Remote, Canada/US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the claims data migration process.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to claims workflows, system rules, and behaviour in ClaimCenter.
  • Collaborate with Claims, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure system configurations align with business objectives.
  • Support integration initiatives between ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and external systems.
  • Participate in data validation and testing efforts to ensure migrated claims data is accurate and complete.
  • Provide recommendations for system enhancements and support business operations during and after the migration.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and documentation, ensuring traceability and clarity in requirements and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter.
  • Proven experience with Commercial and Personal Lines claims processes and policy data.
  • Hands-on involvement in data migration and system integration projects.
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
  • Guidewire Associate Certification – Mandatory (ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Guidewire Cloud.
  • Understanding of FNOL (First Notice of Loss) and the end-to-end claims lifecycle.
  • Prior involvement in legacy system decommissioning or large-scale transformation initiatives.

Work Hours:

  • Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.
