Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Solution Consultant with strong expertise in Collibra to support the implementation and enhancement of enterprise data governance solutions. The role will focus on building a scalable governance framework integrated with Microsoft Azure and Databricks environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and best practices.
The consultant will work closely with enterprise data governance teams, architects, and solution owners to design, implement, and operationalize Collibra-based governance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the definition and execution of Collibra implementation strategy aligned with enterprise data governance standards
- Develop and maintain Collibra foundational architecture including catalog, glossary, lineage, and data quality components
- Design and configure metadata models, business glossary, and data classification frameworks
- Implement workflows using Collibra workflow engine (BPMN-based)
- Configure RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and governance responsibilities
- Support integration with Databricks Unity Catalog and Azure data ecosystem
- Define and implement data quality rules and monitoring frameworks
- Enable end-to-end data lineage across source, transformation, and consumption layers
- Support pilot rollout for critical ERP datasets
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client teams
- Ensure scalable and sustainable Collibra governance solution delivery
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud
- Experience with Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Helpdesk modules
- Expertise in Collibra configuration including domains, communities, assets, and relationships
- Experience designing metadata models and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of data classification (PII, sensitivity, CDEs)
- Experience with workflow design using Collibra workflow engine
- Exposure to Azure and Databricks ecosystem
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance principles
Nice to Have
- Databricks Unity Catalog integration experience
- Knowledge of Lakehouse and Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Experience with external lineage tools integration
- Strong understanding of enterprise-scale data quality frameworks
