Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager to support a large-scale ERP and business transformation initiative. The successful candidate will develop and execute organizational change management (OCM) strategies that enable successful adoption of new business processes, systems, and technologies while ensuring long-term sustainment.
The role requires close collaboration with project teams, business stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver change, communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organizational change management strategies and plans.
- Create and execute communication, stakeholder engagement, readiness, training, and resistance management plans.
- Conduct stakeholder identification, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, gap analysis, and organizational readiness assessments.
- Support project planning, scheduling, resource planning, risk management, and issue management activities.
- Develop communication materials, presentations, and executive-level reports.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Monitor change adoption, measure success through KPIs/KBIs, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Provide guidance on change management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business, technical, operational, and vendor teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support successful rollout and long-term adoption of enterprise technology solutions.
- Utilize digital collaboration and AI productivity tools to enhance change analysis, communications, reporting, and content development.
- Produce engaging communication content that supports organizational transformation.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education
- University degree in Commerce, Communications, Business, or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR
- Diploma in a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Organizational change management methodologies and principles
- Stakeholder analysis and change readiness assessments
- Developing and implementing change management plans
- Developing and implementing communication plans
- Developing and implementing training plans
- Developing and implementing resistance management plans
- Creating and maintaining OCM methodologies, frameworks, and toolkits
- Tracking and measuring change KPIs and behavioural indicators (KBIs)
- Managing the full business and system change management lifecycle
- ERP change management (Finance, HCM/Payroll, Supply Chain, or similar enterprise systems)
- Supporting change management on large, complex software implementation or application development projects
- Conducting change impact assessments
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG, CMI, or equivalent)
- Public sector experience
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise systems
- Strong consultation, facilitation, relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Vendor management and contract coordination experience
- Risk and issue management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
- Microsoft Project
- Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms (e.g., WalkMe)
- Experience using AI productivity tools (Copilot, Gemini, NotebookLM, etc.)
- Knowledge of enterprise application roadmaps and organizational transformation initiatives
- Experience leading meetings and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels
Additional Information
- Work Arrangement: Fully onsite (5 days per week) in Edmonton, Alberta.
- Standard criminal background check required prior to onboarding.
- Mandatory security and privacy training will be required before project commencement.
