Guidewire QA Automation Tester / Lead – PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Automation Tester/Lead with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter testing. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of UI/API automation frameworks, P&C Insurance domain experience, and hands-on exposure to CI/CD integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements, participate in requirement analysis, and provide testability feedback.
  • Prepare automation test strategy, design automation scripts, and create execution plans.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Automate UI and API test cases using Guidewire Testing (GT) framework.
  • Perform automation script failure analysis, identify root causes, and re-execute scripts.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide automation updates to stakeholders.
  • Automate Smoke, Functional, End-to-End, Digital application, and Regression test cases.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems and validate business/data workflows.
  • Validate REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, Karate, etc.
  • Peer-review automation scripts and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Track defects, automation metrics, and publish status reports/dashboards.
  • Collaborate with developers, domain leads, and client stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and recommend automation best practices and accelerators.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in STLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter (mandatory).
  • BillingCenter knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in Digital and Policy Administration system testing.
  • Strong P&C Insurance domain knowledge.
  • Expertise in Guidewire Testing (GT) UI & API automation framework.
  • Strong API testing experience with REST/SOAP services.
  • Experience with GTUI, Selenium (C#), Playwright, TestCafe, or similar tools.
  • CI/CD pipeline integration experience.
  • Strong defect management and reporting experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Guidewire Associate Certification.
  • INS 21 Certification.
  • Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android) is a plus.
