Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise Salesforce solutions for a leading banking organization. The developer will work extensively with Financial Services Cloud and collaborate with architects, analysts, data teams, integration teams, and quality engineers.
Hands-on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud development experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Flow, and platform events.
- Configure and customize Financial Services Cloud to support banking customer, household, relationship, financial account, referral, and servicing processes.
- Develop reusable Lightning components, services, triggers, integrations, and automation.
- Implement solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Integrate Salesforce with core banking systems, identity platforms, document repositories, middleware, and external services.
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, estimation, sprint planning, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop unit tests and maintain Salesforce code-coverage and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, data, security, and production issues.
- Apply Salesforce security controls, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchies, and field-level security.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, environment management, and release activities.
- Follow enterprise DevOps, CI/CD, version-control, and documentation standards.
- Ensure solutions meet banking requirements for security, privacy, auditability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
- Advanced skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within banking or regulated financial services.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, governor limits, security, integration patterns, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience using Git-based version control and Salesforce CI/CD tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaborative delivery skills.
- Ability to work from the Downtown Toronto office three days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or JavaScript Developer certification.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Cloud, OmniStudio, or Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with SFDX, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent DevOps tools.
- Experience with automated testing, static-code analysis, and secure coding practices.
