Role Overview

We are seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver training solutions supporting the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS). The role focuses on creating structured, user-friendly learning materials and enabling effective adoption of system processes through virtual training delivery.

The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and business teams to ensure training content aligns with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Development

• Develop training materials including user guides, job aids, presentations, and scenario-based content

• Translate system functionality and business processes into easy-to-understand learning resources

• Maintain and update training materials based on system changes and feedback

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with SMEs, system leads, and business teams

• Ensure alignment of training content with regulatory and operational standards

Training Delivery

• Support delivery of virtual training sessions (MS Teams or similar platforms)

• Facilitate sessions, provide participant support, and conduct follow-ups

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Identify user knowledge gaps and recommend training interventions

• Improve training effectiveness using feedback and analytics

Content Management

• Maintain training materials in centralized repositories

• Ensure content is updated, organized, and accessible

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma with relevant training experience

• 5+ years of experience in training material development and technical documentation

• 5+ years of experience delivering virtual training (MS Teams or similar tools)

• 5+ years of experience managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience in change management (strategy, communication plans)

• Experience in business process documentation and workflow mapping

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Experience working with leadership and stakeholder groups

• Experience using feedback analytics for training improvement

Additional Details

• Must work from within Canada

• Occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton (Oxbridge Place)

• Candidate must provide own equipment (Windows preferred)

• Background check required
