Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Digital Architects to support large-scale digital transformation, enterprise modernization, and service innovation initiatives within a public sector environment.

The Digital Architect will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, citizen-centric digital services aligned with enterprise architecture standards, agile delivery practices, and modern software engineering principles.

This role requires strong expertise in solution architecture, digital platforms, cloud technologies, agile delivery, enterprise integration, DevSecOps, and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional agile product teams, including product owners, developers, UX/service designers, architects, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on technical capabilities who can balance architecture leadership, modernization strategy, and agile execution across enterprise digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Digital Transformation

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for enterprise digital service delivery initiatives
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and user-centric architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards and agile delivery principles
• Analyze existing applications and platforms to identify modernization opportunities and define future-state architectures
• Develop architecture roadmaps supporting digital transformation and enterprise modernization objectives
• Provide:
  • Architecture recommendations

  • Technology evaluations
• Assess solution impacts, dependencies, risks, and integration considerations across enterprise ecosystems

Agile Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Guide cross-functional agile product teams through iterative delivery and sprint-based execution

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architecture governance, and code review guidance

Integration & Platform Architecture

• Design and manage:

DevSecOps & Cloud Engineering

• Support implementation of:

  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science

  • Related discipline
• Equivalent practical experience may also be considered

Mandatory Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a:
  • Software Architect
  • Digital Architect
  • Solution Architect
• Proven experience leading architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise digital solutions
• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting cross-functional agile product delivery teams
• 4+ years of experience defining and communicating solution architecture to technical and non-technical audiences
• 5+ years of strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement experience
• 2+ years of experience working with teams applying:
  • UX Design
  • Service Design
  • Human-Centered Design methodologies
• Experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise modernization programs
