Guidewire Claims - QA Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Specialist with strong expertise in Guidewire Claims testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating insurance applications, ensuring they meet both business and technical requirements, and driving quality assurance excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guidewire Claims Expertise: Utilize Guidewire software to perform claims validations on insurance applications, ensuring alignment with business and technical specifications.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks or defects, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test scripts, results, and recommendations. Manage testing progress and defects using JIRA QE boards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Guidewire Claims validations, focusing on both personal and commercial insurance applications.

Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Guidewire Claims validations.
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CM) applications.
- Solid understanding of personal and commercial insurance business processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based environments and testing frameworks.
- Guidewire certification or equivalent testing certification.
- Familiarity with insurance industry standards and regulatory requirements.
