Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with strong experience in Guidewire, Digital, and Mainframe functional testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Testing: Utilize digital portals to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
- Guidewire Expertise: Use Guidewire software to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring compliance with business and technical requirements.
- Legacy Expertise: Perform testing on insurance applications through legacy Mainframe UI systems.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations; manage JIRA QE boards effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Guidewire, Digital, and Mainframe testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Guidewire functional testing
- Proficiency in Digital functional testing
- Experience in Mainframe testing
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based environments and testing
- Certification in Guidewire, Digital, or Mainframe testing (or related areas)
- Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations
