Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Data Analyst with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Guidewire PolicyCenter.
The ideal candidate will analyze policy administration data, support business and technology teams, perform data mapping and validation, develop reporting solutions, and ensure data quality across PolicyCenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and migration initiatives.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting, Guidewire data models, and project tracking tools such as Jira.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze policy administration data within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation, enhancement, integration, and migration initiatives.
- Work closely with business, technology, and data teams to gather and clarify requirements.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data insights for business stakeholders.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Support underwriting, rating, deductibles, personal lines, and specialty insurance data analysis.
- Document data requirements, mapping rules, business logic, and reporting needs.
- Use Jira or similar tools to track requirements, tasks, defects, and delivery progress.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance.
- Experience with policy administration systems.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Understanding of Guidewire data models.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard development.
- Experience using Jira or similar project tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Experience with Personal Lines.
- Experience with Specialty Insurance.
- Understanding of Underwriting and Rating Operations.
- Knowledge of deductibles, policy transactions, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Exposure to machine learning datasets or insurance analytics initiatives.
