Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Guidewire Developer – PolicyCenter with strong expertise in PolicyCenter, Rating, Product Configuration, Standards-Based Templates (SBT), and Commercial Lines Insurance. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions while mentoring development teams and driving technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions
- Configure and customize Product Model, PCF, Gosu, Rules, and Integrations
- Design and implement rating solutions including rate tables, rate routines, and worksheets
- Work on Standards-Based Templates (SBT) and bureau-based product implementations/customizations
- Support Commercial Lines product configuration, enhancements, and maintenance
- Conduct code reviews, effort estimations, and provide technical leadership to development teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers
- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment/release activities
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire development best practices and coding standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Guidewire experience with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter

Strong hands-on experience with:
- Product Model
- PCF
- Gosu
- Rules
- Integrations
- Strong experience in Rating and Product Configuration
- Experience with Standards-Based Templates (SBT) and bureau-based implementations
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance
- Proven experience in technical leadership, code reviews, estimations, and team mentoring
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire Cloud Certification (Mammoth release or above)
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations and migrations
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
