About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager – Senior to support a major Procurement System Modernization initiative and the ongoing enhancement of the 1GX enterprise platform.
Reporting to the Manager, 1GX Business Excellence – Communications, OCM & Training, you will lead organizational change management activities that support new implementations as well as the sustainment, enhancement, and optimization of 1GX operations and functionalities.
You will partner with project teams, sponsors, operational teams, vendors, cross-functional stakeholders, and the 1GX Change Network to drive stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communication, and successful adoption of enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organizational change management strategies and plans.
- Support the implementation, adoption, sustainment, and optimization of 1GX.
- Conduct stakeholder identification, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and gap analyses.
- Develop communication strategies, communication plans, and change communication materials.
- Develop readiness, training, and resistance management plans.
- Build and deliver presentations to executives, sponsors, management, and end users.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Collaborate with project teams on project planning, schedules, risks, and issues.
- Conduct business and stakeholder readiness assessments.
- Monitor change progress, adoption metrics, and success measures.
- Leverage approved AI-enabled and digital collaboration tools to support change analysis, communications, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
- Ensure new technology solutions are successfully adopted and sustained.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Commerce, Communications, or a related discipline with 4+ years of related experience,
OR
- Diploma in a related discipline with 6+ years of related experience.
Equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience using recognized change methodologies.
- 4+ years of consultation, facilitation, stakeholder management, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years developing and delivering communications and presentations to executive leadership, management, steering committees, sponsors, and end users.
- 5+ years developing:
- Change Management Strategies & Plans
- Communication Strategies & Plans
- Stakeholder Impact Assessments
- Training Strategies & Plans
- Readiness Programs
- 5+ years developing stakeholder engagement and organizational readiness initiatives.
- 4+ years supporting ERP change management for Finance, HCM/Payroll, or Supply Chain Management solutions.
- 4+ years of negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing experience.

Experience conducting:

- Experience with 1GX adoption, sustainment, enhancement, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication, presentation, business writing, and facilitation skills.
- Change Management Certification (Prosci, APMG, CMI, or equivalent).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, NotebookLM, or similar AI tools to support change management activities.
- Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms, digital walkthroughs, adoption analytics, and user adoption measurement.
- Experience leading stakeholder meetings across all organizational levels.
- Experience working with Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise ERP systems.
- Experience supporting public sector organizations or large enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance structures and business application processes.
Work Arrangement
- Onsite: 5 days per week in Edmonton, Alberta.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Alberta Time).
- Work must be performed from within Canada.
- Equipment will be provided.
