You are a highly motivated Program Manager who can drive delivery in alignment with organizational mandates and goals. You are strong in program and project management practices and possess both business and technical acumen. You support the team and work to achieve results within the constraints of budget, schedule, and scope. You are a leader, an influencer, a team player, and a collaborator.
What You’ll Do:
- Stakeholder Management: Experience leading large programs and managing executive expectations.
- Program & Project Planning: Develop integrated project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and allocation of resources.
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including internal and external partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Risk Management: Guide and support the team to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Champion strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to improve collaboration and project success.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels with project partners, providing regular updates and reports.
- Scope Management: Work closely with the business to baseline and monitor project scope and activate change requests as needed.
- Financial Management: Produce cost models, maintain budgets and expenditures, making vital adjustments to stay within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and best practices.
- Governance: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other artefacts.
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and obstacles to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Bring:
- MUST have General Insurance background and experience (preference for Commercial Insurance experience)
- MUST have experience with Transformational Programs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Project Management certification (PMP) is required
- 15+ years of experience as a Program & Project Manager managing programs with large budgets ($20MM+), complex solutions, and spanning multiple years
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with executive stakeholders
- Financial proficiency and experience operating under tight governance
- Experience overseeing multiple projects within a program structure
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale budgets
- Excellent leadership, communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to run effective project meetings, workshops, and other forums as needed
- Ability to work with and coordinate cross-functional teams including vendor partners
- Ability to support, influence, and negotiate project decisions based on data
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex scenarios
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Teams, and SharePoint
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
