Provides support and control of project management activities, ensuring quality and excellence in project delivery under the direct supervision and guidance of the Project Manager.
May manage a specific phase of a project or lead light governance projects under the coaching of a Project Manager.
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
Assists the Project Manager with day-to-day activities, including status reporting and applying project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Manages administration and tracking of projects through all phases—from initiation to completion.
Identifies scheduling issues and potential risks within project plans.
Ensures alignment with governance and processes, taking guidance from Project Managers, QA, and Compliance teams regarding procedures, metrics, and reporting.
Requirements
5+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities outlined.
Familiarity with Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) applications.
Proficient in Microsoft Project; strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
College diploma or equivalent experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated follow-up and attention to detail.
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Capability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
