Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Coach with strong expertise in the banking and financial services sector. The role involves leading large-scale agile transformations within enterprise environments and working closely with both business and technology stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in complex, regulated environments and will contribute to improving delivery models, accelerating time-to-market, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Transformation Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end SAFe transformations across banking clients
  • Assess current operating models and define transformation roadmaps
  • Drive adoption of lean-agile principles across teams and portfolios

Coaching and Mentoring

  • Coach executives, business leaders, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams
  • Build internal agile capabilities through structured coaching and mentoring
  • Support transition from project-based to product-centric delivery

SAFe Implementation

  • Design and implement Agile Release Trains (ARTs), PI Planning, and Lean Portfolio Management
  • Support scaling of SAFe practices across multiple teams and regions
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery execution

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with senior leadership including CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Transformation
  • Facilitate workshops, PI planning sessions, and retrospectives
  • Communicate effectively in both French and English

Banking Domain Alignment

  • Align agile practices with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Work across banking domains such as core banking, payments, lending, and digital platforms
  • Integrate agile delivery with governance frameworks including audit and risk

Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track KPIs such as velocity, flow, predictability, and business value
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Identify and address organizational impediments

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience as a SAFe Agile Coach in large enterprise environments
  • Strong experience in banking or financial services
  • Expertise in SAFe implementation and agile coaching
  • Experience working in regulated environments with compliance considerations
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Certifications

  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC)
  • Agile certifications (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
  • Banking or financial certifications (preferred)
