Salesforce Data Lead – Data Enrichment and Data Modelling

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Lead to lead data modelling, enrichment, migration, quality, and governance activities for a banking Salesforce transformation program. The successful candidate will design and manage Salesforce data structures that support customer servicing, relationship management, and enterprise reporting.

Experience with Financial Services Cloud is mandatory. Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model and Service Cloud is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce data strategy, data modelling, enrichment, migration, quality, and reconciliation activities.
• Design scalable logical and physical data models using standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Apply the Financial Services Cloud data model to customer, household, relationship, financial account, interaction, and servicing requirements.
• Define data models supporting Service Cloud cases, interactions, activities, entitlements, and customer-service workflows.
• Assess source-system data and define mapping, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, and deduplication rules.
• Establish golden-record, matching, survivorship, and customer identity-resolution approaches.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, integration, analytics, governance, and development teams.
• Define data-quality measurements, validation rules, exception-management processes, and remediation plans.
• Lead data profiling, migration rehearsals, reconciliation, cutover, and post-production validation.
• Ensure customer and financial data is managed in accordance with banking privacy, security, retention, lineage, and regulatory requirements.
• Document source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, transformation rules, lineage, and data ownership.
• Provide technical leadership to Salesforce data developers, migration specialists, and analysts.
• Identify data risks, dependencies, and quality issues and drive them through resolution.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data migration, or data leadership.
• Strong Salesforce data-modelling and data-migration experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of the Financial Services Cloud data model.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud objects and data structures.
• Experience with data enrichment, profiling, cleansing, matching, deduplication, and reconciliation.
• Experience delivering data initiatives within banking or regulated financial services.
• Proficiency with Salesforce data-loading and migration tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, privacy, security, and data-quality controls.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise customer, product, transaction, or master-data systems.
• Ability to work from the Downtown Toronto office three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, or Financial Services Cloud certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies.
• Experience with master data management, customer 360, identity resolution, and reference-data management.
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data-visualization tools.
