Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Vertex O Consultant with strong expertise in integrating Vertex O Series with SAP S/4HANA.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting tax calculation processes across sales and procurement transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy within enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Vertex Integration & Configuration
- Configure and integrate Vertex O Series with SAP S/4HANA for real-time tax calculation
- Set up tax codes, jurisdictions, and mapping between SAP and Vertex
Business & Compliance Alignment
- Work with business teams to gather tax requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support tax-related processes across sales and procurement
SAP Functional Support
- Support end-to-end processes across SD (Order-to-Cash) and FI modules
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and system configuration
Testing & Issue Resolution
- Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot and resolve tax-related issues
Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate with technical teams on system interfaces and enhancements
- Support integration efforts across enterprise systems
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA (SD and/or FI modules)
- Hands-on experience with Vertex O Series integration and configuration
- Experience in system integration and testing
Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge of indirect taxes including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, and GST
Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Familiarity with North American tax regulations
- Prior experience in Vertex upgrades or support
