Senior Mainframe Tester

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with strong knowledge in mainframe testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Legacy Expertise: Utilize Legacy Mainframe UI to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations, as well as manage JIRA QE boards.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in mainframe testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in mainframe testing.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mainframe testing.
- Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
