Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Consultant to lead and support complex implementations of the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, at least 10 years in application development, and at least 5 years of recent experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or Senior Developer. This position requires active CIS certifications and experience working in bilingual and government environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead ServiceNow implementations as a technical architect or practice lead.
- Design and deliver scalable, compliant solution architectures aligned with business goals.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications and systems.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Government of Canada Web Standards (WCAG, CLF, WET).
- Oversee ITSM tool upgrades, custom module development, and integrations.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in a related business or technology discipline; OR a two-year college diploma in a related business or technology discipline; OR a university degree in any field with a minimum of 5 years of related IT experience; OR at least 5 years of work experience in the IT field without a degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Application Development, including developing solution architectures, frameworks, and strategies; analyzing functional requirements; ensuring the integration of software solutions; and collaborating with architecture governance bodies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the past 6 years leading the implementation of ServiceNow projects as the lead technical architect or practice lead.
- Must possess three (3) Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. At least two certifications must be for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or AppEngine. Proof of active certification is required.
- Experience working in bilingual environments.
- Must provide evidence of a valid security clearance at the Reliability level.
- Must have at least one year of cumulative experience integrating an ITSM Tool with other applications or systems.
- Experience performing tasks similar to those listed in the key responsibilities for ITSM Tool implementation or upgrade projects.
- Experience supporting specific components or modules of an ITSM Tool or ITIL processes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing scripts/products relevant to the call-up. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Experience in the design and development of enterprise-class relational databases. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience with ASP.NET application development. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Experience developing public-facing web applications that are compliant with Government of Canada Web Standards: CLF 2.0, WCAG, and WET. Points will be awarded based on the number of projects completed.
- Demonstrated experience in developing web applications using HTML5. Points will be awarded based on the number of projects completed.
- Experience in working with HTML and CSS. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with JavaScript or jQuery. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Experience in the last 10 years working for a Federal or Provincial Government Department/Agency. Points will be awarded based on years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with an ITSM tool. Points will be awarded based on the number of projects completed.
- Location of the resource within Canada. Points will be awarded based on proximity (NCR, GTA, or other locations in Canada).
