Job Description

  • Provides support and control of project management activities, ensuring quality and excellence in project delivery under the direct supervision and guidance of the Project Manager.

  • May manage a specific phase of a project or lead light governance projects under the coaching of a Project Manager.

  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.

  • Assists the Project Manager with day-to-day activities, including status reporting and applying project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Manages administration and tracking of projects through all phases—from initiation to completion.

  • Identifies scheduling issues and potential risks within project plans.

  • Ensures alignment with governance and processes, taking guidance from Project Managers, QA, and Compliance teams regarding procedures, metrics, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities outlined.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) applications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project; strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • College diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated follow-up and attention to detail.

  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.

  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Capability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

IT Project Manager (Telecom)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Project Management Office (PMO) disciplines, software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and enterprise project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver complex IT and telecom projects on time, on budget, and within defined scope and quality parameters.

Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, including Scope of Work, timelines, risks, budgets, and resource allocations.

Manage all PMO domains: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Change, Communication, Risk, Procurement, and Integration.

Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, including internal, client, and subcontractor resources.

Track progress using Jira and other project tools to ensure accurate reporting and visibility.

Communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership to resolve conflicts, report progress, and ensure alignment with program roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience:
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in IT Project Management

Mandatory experience in the telecommunications sector (Non-negotiable)

Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and related tools

Experience managing budgets, resources, and vendors

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
