Position: IAM Access Provisioning Analyst

Department: Cybersecurity

Location: Markham (3 Days a week to office mandatory)

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)

🧩 Role Overview

We are seeking a collaborative, experienced, and detail-oriented individual to join our Cybersecurity IAM Access Provisioning team. In this role, you'll manage the full lifecycle of user access and ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full user lifecycle (onboarding, access changes, offboarding) for employees, contractors, third parties, and brokers.

  • Perform user administration across key systems such as Active Directory, ISAM, LDAP, and other enterprise applications.

  • Support IT audit requirements for compliance with internal and external standards by collecting and reviewing evidence, and creating remediation plans.

  • Ensure service requests are fulfilled in alignment with defined SLAs.

  • Participate in and support IAM and Broker Sanctioning projects through the complete project lifecycle.

  • Develop and optimize operational procedures in line with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.

  • Maintain and document security-related operational processes and controls.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements or automation opportunities to enhance provisioning services.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent academic certification).

  • 1+ year of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) within a Financial or Insurance institution.

  • Strong knowledge of IAM principles: Least Privilege, Segregation of Duties, Confidentiality, and Integrity.

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:

    • SailPoint

    • Active Directory / LDAP

    • IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM)

    • Privilege Access Management (PAM) tools like CyberArk

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage effectively.

  • Proven ability to collaborate and share knowledge with team members in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL certification

  • ISC² (e.g., SSCP, CISSP) certification

  • Experience working in audit/compliance-driven environments

Job Title: Finance Data Analyst

Role Summary:

The Finance Data Analyst is a champion for building data literacy and maturity across the Finance function. This role ensures that Finance data meets strict data quality standards and supports robust and effective risk and control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and enhance data capabilities within Finance by applying consistent data strategies and principles throughout the data lifecycle

  • Collaborate with internal Finance stakeholders, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Data Governance teams on day-to-day operations and project-based initiatives

  • Manage the Data Issue Log, including tracking, resolution, and escalation to the Data Governance Office when required

  • Act as a key contributor to the Finance Data Forums — responsibilities may include preparing meeting materials, facilitating discussions, scribing, and maintaining data quality dashboards and scorecards

  • Maintain team documentation such as policies, user guides, and standard operating procedures

  • Execute Chart of Account (COA) requests accurately and in a timely manner

  • Maintain and understand Finance hierarchies (e.g., IFRS17, CGAAP, Management Information) and manage related reference data

  • Support COA intake request reviews and assessments

  • Develop/refine efficiency metrics, dashboards, and both financial and non-financial KPIs to support the Finance data dictionary and MI inventories

  • Assist in process and procedure development across the team

  • Represent Finance in Data Impact Assessments (DIAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)

  • Contribute to the implementation of internal control policies and embed governance controls into Finance change initiatives

  • Partner with governance and IT teams to develop automated data quality and retention solutions

  • Continuously improve governance practices and documentation

  • Support audits by engaging with internal Finance teams, internal risk groups, and external auditors, providing necessary testing, evidence, and iCARE updates

  • Manage team data within the Canada Finance SharePoint site

  • Prepare and maintain Finance reports as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree; CPA/CA designation or in progress

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a data-driven environment, financial analysis, and/or reporting within Finance or P&C Insurance

  • Solid understanding of data management and data stewardship principles

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; proven ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; experience with data profiling is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense and Business Objects

  • Familiarity with finance software (e.g., Oracle)

  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
